Peer Review

Peer Review

The goal with peer editing is to critically think and read another peer’s paper while giving them constructive feedback on what they can improve on, and what was well written. It also will give you the chance to see if there are things that you could improve on in your own writing based on seeing how they wrote, and comments you get. In the following paragraphs I will explain my edits and suggestion to my peer, and I will go over the ones someone gave me.

Here I was able to edited one of peer’s work, which got me to critically think about the flow, and construction of the essay. This not only benefits me thinking deeper of how to better a paper, but also was able to hopefully my peer by giving them edits on what to improve on and what was well written. I shared that there was a section in her work that was a little confusing because she wrote the same thing twice, but then I also told her further down she had a strong end to her paragraph.

Here is my essay that one of peers edited for me, they gave me a lot of suggestions and comments on how to make it better. I enjoy having someone peer edit my work because they give me more ideas and can help make my writing stronger. They gave me different ways to phrase certain sentences to make them clearer, and they also highlighted areas that needed work because they didn’t make sense or was missing a transition. I am glad they gave me a lot of corrections and suggestions because in the end it helps make me a better writer. When writing my final draft I am going to use these suggestions and keep others in mind.
