This is a picture that I was able to capture of a Lesser Black-backed Gull well out birdwatching at the gazebo here on campus. There were many other cool birds and more gulls that I was able to see by the water which is one thing that is so cool about campus.

In this picture is my plastic cup from Dunkin, and this is an item that can commonly be found in land pollution or just liter in general. Dunkin is a very popular coffee place in New England, these types of cups can be found anywhere. Consumerism relates to environmental issues because it is killing our environment more and more every day. Since demand for items, products, and services is increasing, production needs to increase as well in order to keep up. With production going up there is an increase in buildings/factories that are needed to make the actual product, or even opening up another location if it is a service.
